Liverpool To ANNOUNCE Transfer Of Chelsea Target Within Hours, Bid ACCEPTED

Bar any last minute hitch, Manchester City are set to unveil Liverpool and England winger, Raheem Sterling in the next 24 hours, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 20-year old winger has been involved in a long-drawn battle with management of the Reds as he continues to hold out for a move out of the club this summer. With City and Liverpool said to be neck-deep in negotiations, a deal to take the player out of the Anfield is believed to be imminent, with the Mirror reporting that Sterling could become a City player as early as Monday.

The deal on the table, according to the report, is in the region of £40 million including add-ons. However, the paper believes that the Reds are holding out for £50-million for the 20-year-old, with City making it clear that £45 million will be their final. City are determined to complete the deal before Liverpool embark on their pre-season tour of the Far-East and Australia.

A further proof that the deal is getting set to be completed came this morning when the Daily Mail and other media outlets confirmed that the player has been left out of his club’s pre-season tour. According to the Daily Mail, the Manchester City negotiating team believed they have “made a vital breakthrough in their swoop for the talented youngster during advanced talks this weekend and trying to bring the deal to a swift conclusion.”

The player is believed to have said his goodbye to his teammates ahead of the said move, with personal terms now the only thing left between Sterling and the former EPL champions.
