Liverpool To Complete Transfer Of £75,000-A-Week Star Within 48 Hours
Out of favour Liverpool striker Fabio Borini looks set to be handed a life-line with Fiorentina reportedly willing to sign the 24 year old. Italian club Fiorentina have reportedly entered talks with Liverpool ahead of a proposed 6 million euros deal to bring Fabio Borini to Serie A. The Italian club will however have to go toe-to-toe with West Ham for the signature of the Italian striker.
It is understood that the Hammers want to sign Fabio Borini ahead of the new season as Andy Caroll and Enner Valencia are both out injured and a deal could be completed within 48 hours. Fabio Borini’s dream move to Liverpool has been a nightmare so far with the Italian just registering 2 goals in over 25 appearances for the club since joining the club in July 2012.
However the 24 year old striker was impressive while he was on loan at Sunderland in the 2013/2014 season but opted not to join Sunderland last year after agreeing a fee with them in a bid to fight for his place in the club. This decision would later come back to haunt the Italian as he only featured in 5 starts for Liverpool out of 18 matches last season.
The 24 year old was recently left-out of Liverpool’s pre-season squad along with Balotelli and Enrique which might show the club’s intent of offloading the Italian. With the recent addition of Ings , Benteke and the arrival of Origi which has seen the Italian striker drop down in pecking order, Fabio Borini will wise to seek a move out of Anfield for the benefit of his career.
