Liverpool To Make January Move For Andre Ayew

News have filtered in from the Mirror that Liverpool are interested in Swansea attacker Andre Ayew, and the Welsh outfit now fear that the Reds will try and seal a shock deal for the number 10 when the transfer window re-opens in the New Year.

Ayew joined Swansea for free from Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille in the summer, and the Ghanaian attacker has made a blistering start to his Premier League career by bagging crucial goals and assists – especially against Chelsea and Manchester United – and already looks like one of the best signings of the summer.

The aforementioned source also claim new Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp is a big admirer of Ayew and has tried to sign him twice before.

Now Swansea expect the Reds to make a move for the Ghana international during the January transfer window.

Ayew, 25, has already proven to be a potent goalscorer, having scored four goals in his opening eight league games, making him to be named as one of the contenders for the September Premier League player of the month which Manchester United’s Anthony Martial eventually won.

Also, Ayew has shown himself to be a big-game player too, having bagged important goals against United, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Meanwhile, Klopp’s first game in charge of Liverpool is a tricky away tie against Spurs, and the German boss will be hoping to kick-start his Anfield career with all three points.
