Liverpool have joined Arsenal in the pursuit of Celta Vigo forward Nolito, according to latest reports. talkSPORT cites its sources and claims that the Reds have already placed a €18m bid for the 29-year old, who has impressed with his form in La Liga this season.

The report claims that Celta Vigo have already turned down a Barcelona approach to sign their player on a loan deal, as they are only keen on a permanent transfer for their valuable asset.

Nolito’s transfer pursuit is now a two-way battle for the Spanish international between Arsenal and Liverpool.

He has scored eight league goals and provided five assists in 15 league appearances for his club this season. He is reported to have a £13.6m release clause in his contract.
