Man United Ready To BREAK Transfer Record Again, Bale Deal Edging Closer

Reports coming out of England are saying that Manchester United are ready to break their own British transfer record for Angel Di Maria just to land Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale. The Red Devils are reportedly going to launch a £86 million pounds bid for Gareth Bale. Manchester United were expected to make a move for Bale earlier in the transfer window when the Welshman was reportedly unsettled at the club but United did not step up their interests.

However after the imminent sale of Di Maria to PSG, United are back in their pursuits for Gareth Bale and this time they mean business. Manchester United’s manager Louis Van Gaal has stated on the importance on having players with speed and creativity in his side.

He said “We’re not on schedule to be champions because we need speed and creativity at the front,.”Whether we can win the title [in the next two seasons] is dependable if we can buy players with speed and creativity.”The hardest decisions are always which players you buy and which have to go. We know the Premier League is different to all the other leagues and players have to adapt.”

Gareth Bale is definitely a player with exceptional speed and of course creativity. The Welshman’s explosive pace is a constant headache for opposition defenders. Also Gareth Bale is no stranger to the Premier League so there is no problem of the Welshman struggling to adapt. Manchester United clearly have the money to land Gareth Bale and with the departure of the likes of RVP, Nani , Rafael and Di Maria. Manchester United have cleared enough wages on their wage bill to be able to afford Gareth Bale.
