Man United To ANNOUNCE Signing Of Arsenal & Chelsea Target, Release Clause Triggered

The 20-time Premier League Champions have already sent a statement of intent to their Premier League rivals with some quality signings. Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin have all arrived as Louis van Gaal seeks to bring the club back to its glory days. However, the Dutch tactician is eager for more arrivals especially in the attack department.

Manchester United now are eyeing a move for Barcelona attacking youngster, Adama Traore and are, as per Metro, believed to be ready to activate the player’s £10.6million release clause in order to sign him.

The Red Devils are currently in the transfer market for available striking options and the highly-rated Barca winger has been closely monitored by the Red Devils’ scouts.

Reports in Spain have is now claiming Louis van Gaal is looking to secure Traore’s signature by paying his release clause which is set at £10.6 million, and the Champions League winners will likely sell.

Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also keen on landing the exciting winger but United appear more interested in luring the 19-year old starlet to Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, in another interesting Express’ report, another Premier League club in the form of Stoke City are also in the hunt for the Traore. According to the report, the Potters manager Mark Hughes is monitoring Traore’s progress and is hoping his relationship with the club would help him seal a move for the player.

Having taken Marc Muniesa and Bojan Krkic from the Blaugrana, Hughes appears intent on bringing in talents from Barcelona, and last night, the club confirmed the capture of forward Ibrahim Afellay after the Netherlands international ended his four and a half year-stay at the Nou Camp.

Meanwhile, Man United are reportedly close to landing another Barcelona star, Pedro Rodriguez after the player has declared he wants to leave the club for a new challenge elsewhere.

The Red Devils will trigger Pedro’s release clause of £22million, and it is hoped the Spanish international will join the club before their Premier League season opener against Tottenham on August 7.

Pedro will represent United’s six summer signing after Argentina international goalkeeper Sergio Romero joined as a free agent on Monday.
