Man United To Complete Pedro Signing Will 48 Hours, To Play In UCL Qualifer

Manchester United fans who are hoping to see Pedro play in United’s Champions League qualifier against Club Brugge will be disappointed to hear the latest reports from Spain. Reports coming out from Spain have stated that Manchester United must finalise the signing of Barcelona winger Pedro in the next 48 hours, if they want him to play their Champions League third round qualifier against Club Brugge.

Manchester United is scheduled to play Club Brugge on the 18th and 26th August respectively and might not be able to sign Pedro Rodriguez in time to register him for both legs of the match. The Red Devils have reportedly agreed personal terms with Pedro with only a fee yet to agreed between the two clubs. Barcelona have reportedly placed a 30 million euros price tag on the Spanish winger, but Manchester United are only willing to offer 25 million euros.

With the current urgency needed for Pedro’s transfer, Manchester United will have no choice than to give in to Barcelona. However if Manchester United fails to land Pedro in this 48 hour window, the Red Devils will still be willing to pay his full €30 million release clause, but will be hoping to use add-ons to cover the entire amount.

It is believed that Pedro is expected to move to Old Trafford after both the UEFA Super Cup and the Spanish Super Cup as Barcelona forward Neymar is ruled out with mumps for two weeks but Manchester United are keen to wrap up his transfer so the 28 year old can feature against Club Brugge.
