In a season that will most likely see the usual top four clubs in the English Premier League miss out on the coveted Premier League title, then we can expect a summer in which the long-time big four clubs are most likely to be in the market ready to strengthen their squads.
Well, it in fact looks like the race for potential summer signings is already shaping up even before the curtains fall on the current 2015/2016 season.
This follows revelations that all the long-time big four clubs in the English Premier League; Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City, are following up on the availability of some top players this coming summer. One such player who has had the interest from all the four clubs above is the German International Toni Kroos.
Toni Kroos, who joined Real Madrid in the year 2014 after the world cup has for long being under Manchester United’s watch out list. Departed Manchester United manager David Moyes was very keen on landing the German International and it is said that had the Scotsman not faced the sack then Toni Kroos would have ended at the Theatre of Dreams rather than at the Bernabeu.
With Manchester United having rekindled their interest in Toni Kroos the bookies are rating the Old Trafford club as the most likely to land the services of the German International closely followed by their neighbours and rivals Manchester City, then Arsenal and finally Chelsea who have only a remote chance of landing the current Real Madrid star’s signature.
