Man Utd to Hijack First Target of Chelsea New Manager Antonio Conte , £22million Offered for Winger

Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi is creating waves in the football world with his performances for the Serie A club this season.

The 22-year old has established himself in the starting eleven of the Florence club. He has particularly impressed in the club’s Europa League campaign this season and has scored four goals in the tournament.

His goal against Tottenham in the last-32 of the Europa cup really caught the eye. Chelsea have been reportedly interested in the player. The Blues’ future manager Antonio Conte is a fan of the player and would like to bring him to Stamford Bridge. Young winger is reportedly on his transfer wish list on the first place, ahead of Paul Pogba.

Italian source Gazzetta dello Sport are now claiming that Man Utd have gone ahead and bid for the player.

The bid from the Red Devils is expected to be around £22million. La Viola value their player at £31 million and are expected to hold out for that value.

Federico has been a regular in the Italy U-21 squad and represented the team at 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
Man Utd first made inquiries about the Italian youngster, when Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge.
