Manchester United in Talks with Former Manchester City Star, Shock Transfer on the Table
Man Utd are in the market to sign a full-back. Their approach to sign Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy has already been turned down by the club and now the latest reports are claiming that the Red Devils have been offered Olympiacos full back Omar Elabdellaoui.
Daily Mail reports that the Greek club have offered the Norway international for a loan fee of £2.5m.
The 24-year old spent a couple of seasons United’s local rivals Man City but failed to make an impression before departing from the club in 2013.
He signed for Olympiakos in the summer of 2014, and he has made 38 league appearances for the club during the past two seasons.
He also featured regularly in the Champions League campaign for his side this season.
United have a decision to make on the transfer deadline day as Matteo Darmian and Phil Jones are closing toward a return to the first-team action.
