Manchester United PLAN £200m January Spending Spree

According to reports , Manchester United are already putting plans in motion to make a stunning move for Real Madrid duo Gareth Bale and Cristano Ronaldo. The recent transfer mishap between Real Madrid and Manchester United does not seem to have deterred United’s quest to sign both players.

Both players have been long-term targets of Manchester United, with Gareth Bale being linked to United since his days at Tottenham and Ronaldo being linked with a ‘prodigal son’ return to Old Trafford. It is reported that Welshman Gareth Bale is on top of United’s shopping list as the Red Devils prepare for another lavish spending next summer.

Meanwhile Cristano Ronaldo will be considered as an easier target to acquire due to his reported strained  relationship with new Real Madrid manager Rafa Benitez. Cristano Ronaldo is still yet to get off the mark for Real Madrid this season despite getting 75% of his shots on target, whereas Gareth Bale has banged in two goals thus far for Real Madrid.

Contrary to reports about the relationship of Manchester United and Real Madrid being in bad shape due to the failure of the proposed De Gea transfer on deadline day, it is understood that the Red Devils have maintained extreme confidence in landing the two players. The Red Devils are believed to have offered David De Gea as part of the deal to land Gareth Bale in this just concluded window and may be tempted to do so yet again. Nevertheless, even with the addition of De Gea to the swap, the fee for both players is expected to be ridiculously high but Manchester United have the financial means to pay such ridiculous amount.
