Manchester United Target Arrives For Medical, But Will Sign For Liverpool

According to reports, Liverpool are set to make Barcelona and Spain starlet, Adama Traore their seventh official signing of the transfer window, after bringing in Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke and a host of others in the past few weeks.

Reports as per www.squawka.com indicate that the 19 year-old player, who has been on Liverpool’s radar for quite some time, is, after preliminary negotiations between his club and the Anfield giants, now due to have a medical with the English club ahead of his move.

The skillful, pacy winger who has represented the Spain U-19 squad and has also been an integral part of the Barcelona team B for the past two seasons, was before now, tipped to break into the Barcelona first team to tie down a place on the wings for himself. However, the arrivals of superstars Neymar and Luis appear to have caused the tides to change, as their mercurial form thus far only means that he may now have to wait a longer period for his opportunity to feature regularly in the first team- which, of course, may never get to happen.

Now, Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers has capitalized on his situation, leapfrogged efforts of AS Roma, Villareal and other clubs, and is now expected to announce his arrival at the club within the next couple of hours.
