Manchester United To Complete MAJOR £45m Deal

Angel Di Maria has pleaded with Manchester United to allow him return to Real Madrid this summer according to reports (Spanish Abc newspaper).  Di Maria joined Manchester United from the Bernabeu last season, but he has found difficult to adapt to life in England.

The report has it that the 27 year old does not like the Cold Weather and is regretting to have left Madrid for Manchester. He has asked Madrid to take him back but they are not willing to do so. He is not with the United squad as he is currently on holiday due to his involvement in the just concluded Copa America and it will be interesting to see whether he stays with United or not when the season starts (squawka.com).

Another report as it that he must officially hand in a transfer request if he intends leaving Old Trafford (mail on Sunday). Di Maria contributed 10 assists and last season , more than any other United player despite his injuries and poor form (squawka.com).

If desperate to leave United then submitting a transfer request is the modern player’s last resort. While  rumour had it that Di Maria had suffered  from some personal issues during last season(dailymail.co.uk).

Van Gaal feels that if Di Maria can show consistency on the pitch and stay injury  free, then things away from the field can go well. Di Maria played just 27games for Manchester United after his club record transfer fee from Madrid.
