Manchester United To Go Head To Head With La Liga Club For World Cup Finalist

Valencia are keeping tabs on Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia and they will attempt to sign him when the January transfer window comes alive. However, the Los Che will have to slug it out with Manchester United for the player’s signature, as per talkSport.

Manchester United were heavily tipped to sign the player during the summer but the 29-year-old opted to remain with the Biancocelesti since they also qualified for European competition, as per the talkSport.

Nonetheless, Lazio crashed out of the Champions League Competition to Bayer Leverkuson during the play-offs of the competition – and Valencia are attracted to the player and they are attempt to lure him to Spain.

Looking at the antecedent of both clubs, Manchester United can outwit Valencia to the players signature – the Red Devils have more transfer funds and finesse to attract the central midfielder.

Even though Valencia are currently playing in the UEFA Champions League, they may not qualify for the competition next season as they are currently wallowing in ninth position on the La Liga log. This is different for United who are already looking like title contender – making them more attractive for Biglia.

The Argentine midfielder started his career in Argentina with Argentinos Juniors but he left them for Independiente in 2005 because he was fielded irregularly. He featured regularly for in his second season before he made the switch to Anderlecht.

Biglia made 312 appearances for Anderlecht over his seven years spell with the club before he moved to Lazio.
