According to reports, Juventus have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich to sign Mario Gotze. The report claims that the deal for Gotze originated after discussions between Bayern and Juventus ‘ CEO’s Karl Rummenigge and Guiseppe Marotta in the wake of Vidal’s transfer.
The Gemany International has found it difficult to adapt at Bayern Munich after moving from Borussia Dortmund in 2013. He made 32 appearances last season, scoring nine league goals but only completed 90minutes of Football on 14 occasion.
Regarding Gotze’s future, a number of options is being considered; one of those being a loan deal of 2years , while the other option is to include a buy back clause in the contract. Manchester United have also shown interest in the player. United Manager is said to be interested in signing Gotze and it could be in a swap deal with Angel Di Maria, but coach Pep Guardiola was quick to quash the rumour saying Gotze won’t be going anywhere . But Gotze remain firmly on Van Gaal’s radar.
Gotze agent slammed Pep Guardiola for not managing him well and his future at Bayern Munich looks uncertain, the 23year old is valued at 49.6million Pounds and Louis Van Gaal sees him as World Class (metro.co.uk)
United failed in their attempt to sign Thomas Muller from the Bundesliga Champion and are now solely focused on signing Mario Gotze. With reports claiming the club is working on a Di Maria/Mario Gotze swap deal.
Volkar Struth, the player’s agent said; “Mario is an unbelievable footballer who works very hard and is also very versatile. Many people don’t see that”. All of Gotze’s goals last season were scored with his right foot, he was successful in 76 of his 171 attempted take ons last season and he also had a shot accuracy of 62% with 24of his 39shots on target.
