If a report by Sky sports who are very reliable is anything to go by, then Manchester United target Fabian Delph will be in Manchester this weekend to have medicals with Manchester United’s city rivals Manchester City FC.
According to the report, City has agreed terms with the player and his club and all thats left for the deal to become official is for the player to pass a medical which will take player by tomorrow.
Delph who was linked to Manchester United before joining Aston Villa was again linked to the red devils after United failed so far to land any of their defensive midfield targets.
Delp, 20, has been one of Villa’s best players in the last two seasons. His wonderful performance for the club last season ensured they escaped relegation after a slow start and got to the final of the FA cup where they got whipped four goals to nil by Arsenal at Wembley.
From all indication, Delph has chosen the blue half of Manchester because of the Citizens’ ability to play much more money to the player and his club. It remains to be seen if he will be given a chance to play or if he is just another Scott Sinclair.
