Marquee Signing: LFC chase ‘Incredible’ £35m goal-machine who wants ‘Liverpool’ transfer. January mega-deal?

Liverpool’s new boss Jurgen Klopp is planning a January transfer swoop for his former Borrussia Dortmund attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, this is according to report.

During the summer, several clubs were linked with a move for the goal scoring machine but he opted to remain with the German outfit. Amongst Aubameyang’s suitors were Arsenal and Liverpool.

Now, as per a report for the Daily Express, they claim the player could re-united with his former boss in the January transfer window.

“The Reds are keen on signing [Aubameyang]. A £35million bid [is] thought to be in the offering, with Liverpool keen to bolster their attacking options”.

Earlier in this month, when asked he would fancy a move to Anfield, he said:

“An offer to join Liverpool now Jurgen [Klopp] is there would be an attractive proposition.”

Nonetheless, Liverpool may face competition from La Liga sides as the player also revealed his love for the Spanish League.

I’ve always dreamed of playing in Spain. I am very happy at Dortmund, but everyone knows that in the world of football things can change quickly.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool will travel to Stamford Bridge this weekend to face Chelsea in the Premier League and Jurgen Klopp will be seeking his first Premier League win.
