Chelsea will officially unveil their latest signing Baba Rahman later today after the unveil was delayed due to a little hitch in the Ghanaian getting a work permit. According to daily star, the work permit issue has now been sorted and the left back may even train with Chelsea today and could be in line for his debut this weekend.
Baba, 21, was signed by Chelsea in a deal said to be in the region of £20 million. Arsenal was also interested in the player but it appears Chelsea have moved the quickest to complete this signing ahead of the gunners.
Having had an exceptional season with German Bundesliga side Club Augusburg, Baba will be expected to replace Luis Filipe and probably oust Cesar Azpilicueta from the first team.
He played a total of 31 games for his former club last season and won a staggering 91 tackles, more than any other player in the Bundesliga last season which is a testament of his quality.
