Medical Today, Manchester United Target Confirms He Will Sign For Liverpool

If reports from Spain are true, then Barcelona youngster Adama Traore will soon be joining Liverpool as he is reportedly confident he will be joining Brendan Rodgers’ side this summer.

Metro says Traore is poised to make a £4.2m move to Liverpool after successful talks between the two clubs. The Reds fended off competition from Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Everton and Stoke City for the Spain Under-19 star and are now set to land him.

Catalan Radio stations reported that Liverpool officials flew to Spain to negotiate with Barcelona over the transfer at the end of July and the talks have appeared fruitful.

Despite many suggesting the Reds could be done with transfers this summer, it appears as though Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is aiming to prove them wrong and add more firepower to his attack.

The Merseyside club have signed James Milner, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez, Adam Bogdan, Roberto Firmino, Nathaniel Clyne and Christian Benteke this summer as they look to start life after the departure of club legend Steven Gerrard who left for the MLS at the end of last season.

Liverpool start their push for the title away to Stoke at the Britannia later today and they will be aiming for to banish their Stoke demon and also ensure they gain maximum points after the Potters inflicted a huge 6-1 defeat on them in the last match of the 2014/15 campaign.
