Memphis Depay To Be Dropped For Everton Clash

Dutch tactician Louis Van Gaal is set to hand supposed star signing Memphis Depay his first start from the bench when Manchester United face Everton this Saturday, this is according to the Sun (via Daily star).

Depay who has been dubbed as the New Ronaldo of Manchester has struggled to find his footing for the Red Devils since his big money move. Some of his poor show-offs have in recent time, been attributed to his social life.

His tale in the Premier League has been completely ironical to his cameos in the Champions League – he’s scored three stunning goals in the Champions League for United but has failed to replicate his form in the EPL where he’s managed one goal.

The Dutch star ended last season on a high in the Eredivisie, where he helped PSV won the League with 22-goals to his name. However, Van Gaal is set to drop the winger from the side that will take-on Everton on Saturday in the clash at Goodison Park.

There is no telling who will take his place in the clash but Van Gaal is still mindful of Memphis’ performance over two weeks ago when Arsenal’s Bellerin made him looked ordinary. And for Memphis, these are unhappy times as Holland failed to qualify for the Euro 2016 Championship that will be staged in France.
