Mourinho: Fourth Official Told Me To “Shut up” During Liverpool Defeat

Chelsea’s manager Jose Mourinho is known to be critical with match officials about perceived “bad” decisions against teams. Nonetheless, he is in the claim that the fourth official Lee Mason asked him to “shut up” during their defeat to Liverpool, reports Neil Jones.

The Portuguese tactician’s plight continued as they were thumped at home by an in-form Liverpool side. The defeat culminated in Chelsea’s sixth of the season but they maintained their position on the table.

Mourinho refused to alter words more than “I don’t know” in the post match conference but he is now in the claim that Meson told him to shot up or be sent to the stands, this is as tweeted by Lee Mason on his official twitter handle.

The defeat yesterday culminated into Chelsea’s sixth in the League since the inception of the League. The pressure seems on the increase for Jose Mourinho as they have failed to move even a step forward from the 15th position.

Chelsea now risk not qualifying for the Champions League. Despite having a new manager and an unsettled team, Liverpool still rallied over Chelsea. Chelsea had just two targets on goal and a half fit Benteke came on in the second and inflicted damage on the defence of Chelsea.

However, there have been speculations over the future of Mourinho but he has reinstated that his job is still intact for Chelsea but the coming weeks will determine his fate as coach of Chelsea.
