Mourinho to receive £300m budget after signing Man Utd deal

Jose Mourinho is expected to be confirmed as the new Red Devils boss at the end of the season, replacing Louis van Gaal, with the enormous amount of speculation and rumours that the Portuguese will be in charge at Old Trafford in 2016-17, with reports claiming that he has even signed a deal at the club already.

With four matches remaining, United are five points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, although they have a game in hand. Jose Mourinho according to reports will be handed a £300million transfer kitty when he becomes the next Manchester United boss.

Mourinho is well known for loving to spend huge sums on new signings and it seems likely United will have an exciting off-season. United are looking for elite level players to take the club on to the next level with big names expected to be brought in.

There are a number of potential recruits that the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager would be looking at, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the top of the list. The enigmatic Swede is not believed to want to play for Van Gaal, with the latest reports also indicating that Mourinho will receive £15.5 million a year should he take over from the Dutchman in the summer.

Manchester United Executive vice chairman Ed Woodward is desperate for Mourinho to create a side capable of winning major trophies next season, and would be looking to land a big name signing and Neymar, Thomas Muller, Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani and Raphael Varane could all be targeted.
