Jose Mourinho

Mourinho very interested in signing West Ham star, if he lands Man United position

Negotiations between Jose Mourinho and Manchester United have been well-chronicled in the past few months. Although nothing is set in stone, there is a huge possibility that The Special One will take over for Louis van Gaal as Man U’s new manager for next campaign.

The talks are paused between the 46-year-old Portuguese manager and The Red Devils, as Man U is considering keeping van Gaal if he wins the FA Cup and finishes in a top four position.

Mourinho knows he’s very close to becoming Man U’s next manager, and he is already making plans for The Red Devils. According to Le10Sport, Mourinho is very keen on signing West Ham star Reece Oxford. Oxford, a 17-year-old English player, has stunned the world of football in his first season at West Ham.

The versatile teenager can play any position across the back four, and can even play as a midfielder. He has attracted the eyes of other big clubs in the world of football. Although West Ham is not particularly keen on parting ways with Oxford, reports indicate they will sell him to the right bidder.

If Mourinho gets appointed as The Red Devil’s new boss, you can expect him to spend big to land Oxford and make him Old Trafford’s newest teenage asset.
