The La Decima kings are undaunted and have remained resolute in their pursuit of Manchester United’s David De Gea, as per Goal and Marca.
Earlier in the summer, the Los Blancos shipped out their legendary goal keeper Iker Casillas and have since remained heavily linked with with a move for the 24-year-old Spanish goal keeper as a replacement that will, in Madrid, man in-between the sticks for the exited Iker casillas.
The speculation surrounding the deal was brought low when the Red Devils said that they are unwilling to sell, which made Madrid signed a back-up, Kiko casilla, for their current number one goal keeper.
However, an agreement between both clubs is now in the offing before the close of the window as claimed by Guillem Balague. As per Sky sports.
The former Athletico Madrid man, De Gea, was left out of United’s three games so far this season as he appeared to have set his mind on returning to his country club, Real Madrid, to continue with his career. This is also as per the report.
Last season, De Gea’s heroics between the sticks for United saw him kept 11 clean sheets and saw the club ending the season afloat above the fifth position of the EPL log. He was named the United’s player of the season for last campaign.
De Gea conceded less than one goal per game, per his overall season’s appearances. His statistic is the major reason why Florentino Perez seems desperate for his signature as with Manchester United keeping him at the club.
