If a report by daily mail is anything to go by this morning, then Manchester United may be on the verge of completing of yet another signing in the next couple of days. According to the mail, Real Madrid and Manchester United are discussing the transfer of David De Gea to the 10 times champions league winner and Borja Mayoral
may well be on this way to old trafford as part of the deal.
Although initial reports yesterday had stated David De Gea will not be sold this summer, daily mail seem to think otherwise. De Gea, 24, is said to be Real Madrid’s major target this transfer window and according to the paper, Madrid sources believe it is a matter of when and not if the transfer will be done. Manchester United already reportedly offered De Gea £200,000 a week which was rejected.
Manchester United are said to be willing to let De Gea leave but only if they get a significant amount of money plus young forward Borja Mayoral. The paper went on to claim although Real Madrid are not ready to let Mayorla leave the club, they may be forced to do so in order to get De Gea.
Mayoral is highly rated among the coaches in the Madrid youth set up and among their fans. He has even been liked to legend Raul. He was one of Madrid’s best players in last season’s UEFA youth champions league scoring a total of seven games in seven appearances.
