New TWIST- Charlie Austin To Join Chelsea For £15m?

Reigning premier league champions, Chelsea football club, have reportedly pulled the plug with regards to the possible acquisition of in demand striker Charlie Austin of Queens Park Rangers according to ‎the London Evening standard. An array of premier league clubs which include Aston Villa, ‎Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, West ham are looking to add him to their ranks.
If reports and speculation are ‎anything to go by, Chelsea have beamed their searchlight on the QPR man, never the less, Chelsea Manager, Jose Mourinho as indicated that he wants French striker, Loic Remmy to remain at Stamford Bridge, which all but rules out a move for Austin.‎ This eventually gives the impetus for the likes of Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, West ham, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Manchester United to finally get their man. It was  thought that the preferred destination for the English striker was Chelsea.
Austin hopes to remain in London but wont mind leaving the capital if better and suitable offer comes his way. Aston Villa and Newcastle United are said to be the early frontrunners in securing the services of the QPR striker and are more than willing to meet the initial asking price if £15m.
Could this all stories and report point to the pursuit of firecracker attacking foward ‎ Antione Griezmann appear to be cooling off? I think not because not too long ago, Chelsea coach Mourinho as been an admirer of Griezmanns abilities and what he could bring to the team by having a free scoring foward to his squad. The highly rated French man in comparison to Charlie Austin is a better player.
Looking at it from this perspective, they both came from modest clubs-Real Sociedad for the french man where he caught the eye of Simeone scoring 46 top flight goals in the Spanish league spanning 5years (2009-2014). Playing for the dethroned la liga champions, which he where he banged in 22 league goals during the last campaign which were only bettered by the two usual suspects (Ronaldo and Messi).
He offers plenty options for the coach by being adept at playing multiple positions; on either flanks, through the middle as a point man or supporting striker and finding the back of the net all the same.‎ On the other hand,Austin has been impressive for a modest club like Burnley and QPR, but there’s no guarantee he would replicate his goal scoring prowess if he steps into a big club with a huge fan base and pedigree like that of Chelsea football club coupled with the huge expectations that would be put on his shoulders in the aftermath of his acquisition. Rounding it off, Griezmann wasn’t even expected to score plenty foals but deliver assists but look at what he has done during the last season at a big club like Atleti. All in all, the French man for me over Charlie Austin!!!
