The news that the striker will not accept a new deal at Villa Park will surely be welcomed at Stamford Bridge. Should Chelsea actually mean for Benteke, it could mean the end has come to the Griezmann chase.

The premiere league champions now appear favourites to sign another Belgium international teammate after Eden Hazard.
