One In and One Out: Pato Becomes Chelsea Player, Remy Leaving Stamford Bridge

It’s the case of one in and one out at Chelsea. Following the confirmation of Alexandre Pato’s arrival at Stamford Bridge, the Blues are set to allow striker Loic Remy leave on a loan deal.

According to ESPN, Premier League club Newcastle United are in strong position to sign their former striker Loic Remy on a loan deal.

The 29-year old was rumoured to link up with Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace recently, but according to the report, the Magpies are now in the leading position to sign the Frenchman.

Remy has previously played for Pardew at Newcastle United during the 2013-14 season. He scored 14 goals in 26 Premier League appearances for the Magpies during that season.

Russian club Spartak Moscow have also been linked with a move for the striker.

Remy has scored eight goals in 29 Premier League appearances for the Blues during the past two seasons.
