Only January Deal Identified: Barcelona Target Joining Man Utd, Get to Know Him

Man Utd have identified Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega as their only January signing according to the latest reports.

The Sun claims that United are interested in bringing the Argentina international to Old Trafford this month.

The 27-year old has impressed in La Liga this season and the Red Devils want to wrap up the move for the player before the transfer window shuts down on February 1.

Banega has scored six goals in 16 appearances for the La Liga and has also attracted the attention of Catalan giants Barcelona.

He joined Sevilla from La Liga rivals Valencia in 2014 for an undisclosed fee. He was named Man of the Match in Sevilla’s Europa League final triumph over Benfica in 2015.

He was also a part of the Argentina national team that reached the finals of the 2015 Cope America and was one of the players who missed their penalties in the shoot-out defeat by Chile in the final of the competition.

He could be tempted to leave the club this month as Sevilla are struggling in La Liga this season and are currently placed seventh in the League table.
