As we reported earlier, Chelsea are ready to go all-out in order to secure the signing of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba’s agent earlier confirmed that a bid of £73 million would be enough to prise the midfielder away from the Serie A champions.
Various reports are now claiming that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is adamant on bringing the France international to Stamford Bridge and has already made an offer of €87 million (£64 million) to the Serie A giants for the player.
Spanish sources Don Balon and Fichajes.net quote the figure and claim that an initial bid has already been sent to the Turin club. The talented 22-year old has been linked with almost every major European club, but it seems like the London club have stolen the march for the former Man Utd player.
Chelsea are in desperate need of a central midfield player as the likes of Cesc Fabregas, and Nemanja Matic have been below standard this season. Pogba, on the other hand, has created 23 chances in the current season of Serie A for Old Lady.
