Pedro To OFFICIALLY Become A Chelsea Player Next Week

In the last few days, Chelsea have been reported to be closing in on a move for out-of-favour Barcelona and Spain striker, Pedro. The player has slid down the pecking order at the Camp Nou following the arrivals of superstars Neymar and Luis Suarez, and is reportedly seeking a move away so as to experience regular first-team football.

The Spanish player, who plies his trade effectively on the flanks, scored a paltry 6 goals in only a handful of games in Barcelona colours last season: and with Suarez, Neymar and Messi having established themselves as the Catalan club’s first-choice front three, his playing chances are limited.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be a big admirer of the player, and wants to capitalize on his situation in Spain. A formal bid for his services is expected to be submitted by Chelsea next week, and the deal is also expected to be completed next week. It is also expected that Mourinho unveils the player soonest, as Chelsea’s newest recruit.

It is not categorically certain where the player would fit into the current Chelsea squad, as Chelsea already have established attacking talent on both flanks. However, the Special one is knows his onions, and would certainly bring out the best in a talented, match-hungry player like Pedro.
