Man Utd have identified Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo as a possible replacement for David De Gea, according to reports. Spanish publication Don Balon reports that United have prepared a contingency plan for David De Gea’s possible exit in summer. The Red Devils plan to move for the Chilean international in the summer if they fail to hold onto De Gea in the summer.
The Spaniard goalkeeper’s future at Old Trafford remains undecided despite his assurances that he sees his long-term future at the club.
However, uncertainty at the Premier League club coupled with Real Madrid’s determination to bring De Gea back to La Liga has forced the United board to start looking for a replacement.
The Chilean international has kept ten clean sheets in 17 league appearances for the Catalan giants this season.
He was also a part of the Copa America 2015 winning Chilean national team. He was between the sticks for his team in penalty shootout win for his side against Argentina in the final of the tournament.
Recent reports from Spain confirm the claim as Pep Guardiola reportedly has chosen to join Manchester United in summer. Manager wants to bring Barcelona goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo, with him should David de Gea leave Old Trafford.
