There was no late night drama at Arsenal on transfer deadline day, except Carl Jenkinson’s return to Arsenal. Being on loan deal to West Ham, Jenkinson made 23 appearances before suffering from a knee injury.
The serious injury caused West Ham to terminate his contract and the 23-year-old is back to the Emirates.

Since Hector Bellerin has already cemented his place in the team as a right-back, Jenkinson would need to work extra hard to make his place in the first team in order to achieve regular game time.
Arsenal will face Barcelona in the Champions League knock-out stage fixture towards the end of February. There is not much hope laid on the Gunners’ champions league campaign, but there is hope for Arsenal in the Premier League.
However, due to inconsistency and lack of victories in the recent fixtures, it seems Leicester might take the title for themselves.
