Photo: Liverpool’s new home kit accidentally leaked

Images appearing on the website of brand New Balance caused wide spread speculations if the images could be a revelation of Liverpool’s 2016/2017 new home kit. Kit suppliers, New Balance, could have revealed on Thursday night to Liverpool fans their new home kit for the upcoming season earlier than scheduled.

Though not yet confirmed, images of the new kit being worn by some of Liverpool’s players added to the speculation that this could be the much awaited 2016/2017 Liverpool’s home kit.

The images of the kit most likely thought to be Liverpool’s new home kit for the upcoming season features a yellow detail around the collar and end of sleeves, the logo of kit manufacturer New Balance, the logo of sponsor Standard Chartered Bank and the Liverpool Crest. All the logos and stand out features on the new kit images are all done in yellow.

While Liverpool’s kits traditionally usually contain some white detail, then this kit is uniquely missing out on this element. However, a subtle hoops pattern is printed in different shades of red. It is largely expected that the shirt is to be combined with red shorts and socks.

The new kits images thought to be for next season’s Liverpool home kits also do pay tribute to the Hillsborough disaster victims. This is made evident by the number 96 that reportedly appears as printed on the outer back of the collars.
Well, as we have stated from the word go, these are just speculations and it is to be seen or confirmed from the club, Liverpool’s official website, on whether the images appearing there-in are actually those of Liverpool’s new season kits.
