PICTURE: Juve goal that knocked out Chelsea was offside

Aleksandr Kucher stuck the ball in his own net ten minutes into the second half as he tried to stop Giovinco from scoring for Juventus. However, as he picture above clearly shows, the linesman missed an offside decision in the lead up to the goal.

Juve’s 1-0 win tonight confirms Chelsea’s place in the Europa League, with them becoming the first team in Champions League history to not make it past the group stages after winning the competition the season before.
