Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Revealed Where He Wants to Play Next Season

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have suffered a major setback after their transfer target Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang revealed that he wants to play for Real Madrid in future.

The Gabon international has been in tremendous form for Dortmund this season and has attracted the interests of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in his services.

The Gunners were linked with him during the January transfer window and United reportedly approached Dortmund recently to inquire about the possibility of signing the player in summer.

The 26-year-old, who won the African Player of the Year award last month, has scored 20 goals in 20 league appearances for Dortmund this season.

In an interview with L’Equipe, he revealed that his dream is to play for Real Madrid one day.

“In 2014, just before the death of my grandfather, who was born in Avila 100 kilometres from Madrid, I gave him the promise to play one day for Real,” Aubameyang told L’Equipe, via Sky Sports.

“It’ll be complicated, but this (promise) is anchored to a corner of my heart.”
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked very closely with Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp is eager to bring new striker to the squad. Christian Benteke is without a form this season and Daniel Sturridge is constantly struggling with injuries.
