Real Madrid Midfielder to Undergo Medical at the New Club Today, Liverpool Fans React on Twitter

Liverpool have suffered a major blow after one of their top targets during the January transfer window, Real Madrid ace Denis Cheryshev has completed on a loan move to Valencia.

The La Liga giants have signed the Russian international for the reminder of the season.

A statement on Valencia’s website read: “Valencia Club de Futbol and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for the signing on loan of Russian international Denis Cheryshev, through to June 30th, 2016.”

“Denis Dmitrievich Cheryshev (born December 16th, 1990 in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia), is a left footed midfielder capped by Russia on 9 occasions, and renowned for his exquisite technique, fitness and character on the field of play”

“Brought up through the youth ranks at Real Madrid, Cheryshev has accumulated experience in La Liga and European competitions, during loan spells at Villarreal CF and Sevilla FC. He made his full debut for the Russian national team in 2012.”

“Cheryshev will undergo a medical on Tuesday, February 2nd at 9:30am, alongside the club’s official medical partner Divina Pastora Seguros at the Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna. After his first training session with his new teammates, he will be officially presented at the Media Centre alongside Sporting Direcot, Jesus García Pitarch.”

According to reports, Liverpool were keen to secure the services of the 25-year-old midfielder before the transfer window transfer window slammed shut.
