Real Madrid Ready To Sign Arsenal Target, Manchester United To Sign Illarramendi

Latest reports from the Daily Express shows that Real Madrid have joined Manchester United and Arsenal in the bid for the signature of William Carvalho this transfer market.

The Spanish giants will tender a bid to Sporting Lisbon for the services of the midfielder if Asier Illarramendi were to leave the club in this transfer window.

The prolific Carvalho has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal and he has a £32 million release clause surrounding his current contract mean while neither club have made an official bid yet.

The Daily Express posited that Real are not willing to bat their eyelids with any offers below that price. Speculations are wild stating that if Illarramendi moves out that position of Real Madrid could change, which Arsenal nor Manchester United can not afford to bear.

Recall that the Portuguese international featured in the recently concluded European Under-21 Championships in Czech Republic, pulling his side through to the final but had to lose to a greater firepower of Sweden.

Analysis have shown that William Carvalho completed a massive 281 passes in the last season Champions League competition for Sporting. He has also proved he’s a great asset for Sporting in the Champions League last term, creating good six chances with an average pass accuracy of 85% in all six appearances, he won 46% of his average fierce duels.

Williams also had a shot accuracy of 60% in the Champions League last season.
