Real Madrid Release OFFICIAL Statement On Benzema, Arsenal To Finally Get Their Man?

Bad news for Arsenal as their deal for Karim Benzema has been forcefully put on hold. This follows from a Thigh injury the player suffered during the Los Blancos training session as officially confirmed by the club.

According to reports on the club’s official website as reported by the daily mail, the prolific goal scorer could miss the start of the season after he picked up the injury. The website revealed that Benzema’s inclusion in the squad for their first match of the season is dependent upon the evaluation of the problem after further diagnoses and checks. Their first match is however scheduled for the 23rd of this month against Sporting Gihon.

It is however not clear if this is a real injury or one of those players have when they want to force through a move away from their clubs to another club.

Arsenal who are in dare need of a prolific goal poacher have been heavily linked with a move for the 27-year-old France International throughout this summer. Although, the Gunners have been turned down after a first bid but remained unrelenting in their quest to securing the signature of the player.

For Arsenal to compete favorably for the EPL Title that has eluded them for over a decade, they have to secure a world class centre forward in Benzema. This injury problem might just be the spoil for Arsenal who have been trailing the Real Madrid’s forward Karim Benzema.
