Former president of the Santiago Bernabeu landlords Roman Calderon is in the claim that despite show-casing poor tactical prowess, Real Madrid could sign Jose Mourinho.
Calderon was completely sure that Los Blancos president Florentino Perez would whole heartedly back Mourinho to return as he was never part of the decision that led to the ousting the Portuguese tactician in 2013.
“If he is not anymore in Chelsea I think (Florentino) Perez will be really willing to bring him back to Real Madrid,’
While speaking to beIN sport, he subsequently said:
“I don’t rule out that (he will be back at Real Madrid). If he is not anymore at Chelsea and (Rafael) Benitez is not doing well at the end of the season here, I don’t rule out he’s going to be back here. The president is really looking for that.”
Mourinho has never experienced this sort of hardship and display in his enviable career. His defending Champions are currently leveled to relegation battlers. Mourinho is still backed by Abramovich to continue with the job but he might be sacked if the recent results are unchanged.
Following his pedigree and antecedent, the Special One already has several suitors rooting for his signature. Getting another job would not be difficult for Mourinho but this week may define his fate as Chelsea’s manager.
