Report: Arsenal to agree €141,000-a-week deal

English midfielder Jack Wilshere is reportedly close to agreeing a new deal at Arsenal. Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is about to add to his list of blunders as the club is set to offer injury prone Jack Wilshere a new contract, this decision is surely going to incur the wrath of the Arsenal supporters as Wilshere has only featured once for the club this season and started only 9 premier league games last season.

Yet, Wenger is still apparently keen to bring Wilshere’s wages closer to the club’s top earners Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez and on a par with Aaron Ramsey.

While his potential is glaring, Wilshere has never found a definite position to make his own. But his ongoing fragility still hasn’t convinced the Arsenal manager to cash in.

For over a decade now Arsenal FC has been trademarked by inconsistency under the tutelage of the French man as such the gunners have not won the Premier League title since the 2003-2004 season. They have had many decent chances but the ability to self-destruct has not helped the Frenchman, much to the anguish of the Arsenal supporters.

Yet if reports hitting the news are anything to go by then Wenger is perhaps going to make yet another blunder by agreeing a new deal with injury ravaged Jack Wilshere.
Reports claim that the new deal is going to be worth €141,000-a-week. The move by the London club makes absolutely no sense for someone who has only played his first game of the season last weekend.
