Arsenal are reportedly ready to offer Jack Wilshere a new five-year deal regardless of his persistent injury issues.
Wilshere, who only turned 24 at the start of January, has only played 36 percent of Arsenal’s games in all competitions since the start of 2011/2012 season, and has lost two year to several injury problems.
According to the Daily Star, the England international will pen a new contract worth a whopping £31 million that will keep him at the north London club until 2021, with the 24-year-old said to be set to pick up a £110, 000 per week salary.
Arsenal seem interested to cling on the midfielder banked on the fact that he is a player who has come up through the Gunners’ academy and been schooled in the Arsenal way of playing.
In one of the most recent interviews, Ian Wright – an English former professional footballer turned television and radio personality, backed Jack Wilshere to come stronger than ever as the Gunners midfielder approaches a return from an injury.
