Revealed: Arsenal superstar admits La Liga return is possible

If there is a player which has been missed by Arsenal fans this season, then that player is Santi Cazorla. They may miss him even more, with the Spaniard admitting that he may still return to his old club Villarreal.

He played for Villarreal from 2003 to 2006 and again from 2007 to 2011, and he could be back there again. He has fond memories of his playing times at the club, which he says is very special to him. He is currently recovering from a knee injury he picked in November last year.

Before his injury, the 31-year old arsenal playmaker had already helped Arsenal make it clear to all the clubs in the Barclays Premier league that they were playing for the BPL crown. His composure in midfield, accuracy and creativity was made arsenal very lethal going forward, and they were soon branded the BPL favorites. Things would change for the worst, and only the tough got going for Arsenal as they struggle to finish in the top four.

Cazorla joined Arsenal on August 7, 2012 from Malaga FC and his current contract with the club runs till 30.06.2017. He has already expressed his desire to continue playing for Arsenal. However, football is full of surprises, and he was keen to point out that it is not possible to rule out a return to the Spanish side.
There are a lot of expectations as the midfielder is expected to feature in the coming Arsenal game against Norwich at home.
