Everton defender John Stones is a man-in-demand at the moment. The highly-rated defender has attracted the attentions of La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs in his services.
Chelsea are said to be most interested in his services, having unsuccessfully bid for him in the summer.
However, latest reports have claimed that the 21-year old prefers a move to a Manchester club.
The Times claims that player’s family is based in Yorkshire and hence a move to Manchester would mean that he will be close to his family.
A move to Chelsea or any of the La Liga club would mean that the player will have to pack his bags and relocate.
Daily Mail has recently claimed that Man City are currently leading the race to sign the England international as future manager Pep Guardiola is ready to reshuffle City’s back-four following his arrival at Etihad Stadium.
