A Review Of The 8th Round Of Brazilian Championship: Luan The New Brazilian Golden Boy

This weekend we had the 8th round of the Brazilian Championship. Of the 10 matches, we hit 6
in our predictions (better than last round). See below a summary of the main matches of the
round:

Fluminense 2-2 Flamengo

The Flamengo team pressed for the majority of the match, but Fluminense, with its counter-attacking speed, managed to score a goal and win a penalty that gave them the lead in the match. At the end of the game at 90 + 4, the Peruvian, Trauco tied the match at 2-2.

Sao Paulo 1-2 Atletico MG

Altetico MG started the match with a goal. With that, the São Paulo had to press, drawing level but having to take care of the counter attack of the “Mineiros”. At the end of the game the Sao Paulo defense made a mistake and Atletico MG scored the winning goal.

Cruzeiro 3-3 Gremio

The best match of the championship. More than 20 shots on goal from each side. Teams always
trying to win. Cruzeiro being more vertical, playing by the sides. Gremio in their ball
control style, with the best player of the Luan championship, played very well once again. A
great match, showing the real Brazilian football.
