Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has emerged as one of the favourites to take over the Chelsea job in the summer.
The Independent claims that Blues owner Roman Abramovich has drawn up a shortlist of five managers and the Argentinean figures in the list.
Other candidates on the list include former Chile manager Jorge Sampaoli, current Italy manager Antonio Conte, France manager Didier Deschamps and Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone.
Pochettino has impressed with his work with the Spurs in last two seasons and Man Utd have also been reported to keeping tabs on him.
He has followed the policy of promoting youth talent and has led his team to an impressive fourth spot in Premier League this season.
However, it won’t be an easy task to lure him away from Spurs as he is only in his second year of the five-year contract.
