Roman Abramovich KEEN On Paul Pogba, Wants Deal Done At All Cost
After the arrival of Pedro Rodriguez and Abdul Baba Rahman, the news of Chelsea trying to make Paul Pogba their next signing has blown all over the media, with Jose Mourinho reportedly a keen admirer of the 22 year old midfielder and has maintained interest in trying to sign Paul Pogba before the transfer window closes. However, the only thing hindering Jose Mourinho’s wish from happeningĀ is the Frenchman’s asking price.
Juventus have slapped a price tag of 80 million pounds on the 22 year old making it difficult for Chelsea to sign Paul Pogba. Just three years after leaving Manchester United to Juventus for a free transfer, the Frenchman has evolved to become one of the most sought after midfielders in the world.
The Frenchman has caught the attention of major clubs in Europe, with Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United all interested in the 22 year old. However, it is reported that Barcelona have agreed a deal in principle with Juventus over Paul Pogba but it is still yet unconfirmed.
Paul Pogba has been very key to Juventus recent success over the years and have given the 22 year old a much bigger role to play in leading Juventus this season due to departures of Carlos Tevez , Arturo Vidal and Andreas Pirlo. This should definitely mean that Juventus will not be looking to sell Pogba anytime soon. Moreover, with Euro 2016 around the corner, the Frenchman is unlikely to leave his starting role at the Juventus to go and compete with the influx of midfielders at Chelsea for a starting spot.
