Roman Abramovich To Hold Talks With £90,000-A-Week Star To Convince Him To Sign for Chelsea

Chelsea have been in a state of turmoil this season and find themselves struggling to even stay above the relegation zone on the English Premiership table despite being the defending champions of the English Premier League title which they won convincingly last season. The players have not been able to muster enough to keep themselves in the top half of the Premiership table and fans are calling for new players who can be committed to the club enough to try and bring them out of their present predicament.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich too may have discovered this as he has reportedly contacted Serie A club Lazio over a potential move for winger Antonio Candreva.

According to TMW, Chelsea are targeting a summer transfer move for the winger, with Abramovich putting in a personal call to Lazio as he pursues a deal which will be completed by then. Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, may not be able to do anything about this as he too must be ready to part with some players to bring in new ones at Stamford Bridge.

If this deal is completed soon, it will be beneficial to the club as the player could easily replace some of their wingers who have obviously gotten tired of playing at Stamford Bridge.
