Ruben Loftus-Cheek To Replace Fabregas Chelsea Midfield, Bullish Mourinho To Ring Changes

Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho in his bid to muster all and turn things around at the Stamford Bridge may have to give 19-year-old central midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek a chance in the Premier League this season.

The player who made three appearances for Chelsea last season has been said to be the best player in recent times to come out the Chelsea Academy and might have to come in to the first team squad to replace under-performing Nemanja Matic, Cesc Fabregas, Ramires and John Obi Mikel.

All four midfielders are ahead of him and he will do something big to be picked ahead of them normally but as the saying goes that, “desperate times call for desperate measures.” Jose Mourinho might have to try the player in the next match and see if he can bring in just that something that seems to be lacking from the Chelsea team at the moment.

The player has played for Chelsea this season when he appeared against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champiuons League and performed wonderfully and also against Walsall in the Capital One cup where he also did well.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek completed 93% of his passes for Chelsea against Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the Champions League match and was very active for Chelsea across the midfield in the same match, proving that he has the strength and the pace and especially the commitment to be a Chelsea player at the moment which most of the other senior players seem to lack.

It might sit well with Chelsea fans if Mourinho tries this monumental change and will definitely be applauded if it works but if it backfires, then Jose needs nothing short of a miracle at the Stamford Bridge.
