Sanchez Dropped, Chamberlain To Start, Arsenal Likely XI For Watford Clash

It is Premier League match day nine. Having torn Manchester United apart,  the Gunner will come into this fixtures as one of the most in-formed team in England – Arsenal are currently a-top second position in the League, with most of the players making the headlines during the international break.

Wenger and his men will be looking to replicate the performance of their previous match and avoid being complacent in the fixture.

As for the player’s who went to represent their countries during the international break, they all returned to the club unscathed bar Sanchez who picked up a knock and it will only be precautionary for the player to be rested as they have an upheaval tax in the coming to beat Bayern Munich.

We take a swipe at who is likely to make the trip to Watford.

Goalkeeper

Even though Wenger is yet to feature the shot-stopper in the Champions League, he will be back in gaol for the Gunners.

Defence

With the Champions League clash in sight against Bayern Munich, Wenger could throw up Debuchy at right back, Gibbs at left back and the heart of defence should have the pair of Koscielny and Gabriel. The Brazilian Gabriel seems to have integrated properly into the team and his speed against Igalo will come handy today.

Midfield

The shield form the defence will be undoubtedly manned by Coquelin, with Cazorla providing the support and Ozil serving the inch-perfect passes to the forward. This three have been arguably best trio in midfield in the Premier League.

Attack

With a knock for Sanchez, Wenger should give the attacker a deserved rest. Chamberlain should take the place of the Chilean with Walcott leading the attack and the hardworking Ramsey on the right flank.
